Students have had to wait a long time for their final admission decisions, and for those with good news, the moment was too good not to be captured on camera. Class of 2021 Admission Rates Overall, admission rates to the class of 2021 stayed relatively the same, with some schools reporting small decreases, and others slight increases, in admission rates. Harvard University reported an admission rate of 5.2%, same as last year, after receiving a record-number of applications for the class of 2021. Yale University reported a slightly higher admit rate compared to last year – 6.9%. Once again Stanford University reported one of the lowest admission rates – 4.65%.
